Team Championship Pro Am 28th Jan - 4th Feb 2024
The Team Championship Pro Am is the opening event of our year and the 2024 competition calendar. It has proved to be a popular event for many years. Over the period many well know names have collected this trophy on behalf of their team. Great players such as George Will, Beverly Lewis, Mickey Walker, Lora Fairclough, Cathy Panton Lewis and Alison Nicholas have guided their teams to victory with shrewd team selections, great advice and support.
Played in teams of 9 the professional will drop back and play six holes each day with 3 x 3 balls. Over the day the best 7 scores per hole out of the 10 players will count towards their team total. Add a couple of friendly games, tuition, welcome drinks, gala dinner, fabulous prizes and fantastic company your early start to 2024 will not disappoint you.

HOTEL
The stunning new 5* Hotel Golf Almerimar re-opened in 2012 after a multi million euro rebuild. The hotel provides magnificent rooms with king sized beds, private terraces, views over the golf course and all of the finest facilities you would expect from a new 5* resort including the New Golf Clubhouse, a la Carte restaurant, summer terrace, spa and all of the superb facilities you would require.
The resort is less than an hour away from Almeria Airport, in a green oasis, located just opposite the marina, which is one of the best yacht harbours of the Mediterranean populated with bars, restaurants, pubs, tapas bars and a well-stocked supermarket. Just a short drive away you will find top class commercial centers in Almeria, El Ejido and at the Grand Plaza in neighbouring Roquetas De Mar.Extra Nights are available:

GOLF COURSE
The original layout was designed by Gary Player and although there have been a number of revisions to the course these have added to the challenges. Tee positions, lakes and bunkers provide the hazards on this mainly flat, walkable course for the 27 holes with their wide fairways and generous greens. Two island greens provide a memorable opportunity to make par for those who are accurate and confident - and if you are not quite sure a calculated lay up - then cross- will still secure points for your team. The course has been under continually update under new guidance from the Spanish Golf Federation for the last 24 months and it was looking fabulous during our last visit in June 2018.

Due to the current unstable nature of the exchange rate we reserve the right to add an exchange rate supplement of no more than £40 per person if the pound/ euro rate is below 1.10 by balance payment date.
