LADIES PRO- AM 2024 - 20-27th April 2024
Probably the largest Amateur Ladies Pro-am in the whole of Europe. We regularly have around 160 lady golfers from across the globe join us for a fantastic week of competition, fun and excitement.
This is one of the best weeks of our season with great support from ladies throughout Europe.
Our return in April 2022 after the Coronavirus outbreaks was fantastic with 23 teams and followed again in 2023 with the same field. With so many people excited to renew old friendships again and so many new ones to start. We are excpecting a full field again in 2024 with many provisional bookings already held.
This event regularly attracts players from all over Europe - Norway, Sweden, Holland, Spain, Ireland, Denmark, Scotland, England and ocasionally USA giving the competition a truly international feel and providing a vibrant buzz to the event. We will again be following the successful 4 tee start formula which allows us to have a maximum of 24 teams.
Including the 24 lady golf professionals, 144 lady amateurs this provides a fantastic mixture of golf, fun and enjoyment to complete the most exciting golfing week you can imagine. Five rounds of golf over the South & North courses, half board accommodation, welcome drinks, gala dinner and all-round entertainment.
The main competition is played in Stableford format. The top four scores per hole from your team of seven including your professional will count towards your total team score over the three days. The teams play in threes and your professional will play nine holes with each ofher two three-balls.
The professional is there to give team tuition, help and guidance as well as to contribute to your total team score.
Following from the positive feedback from 2023 we have elected again to take the semi - all - inclusive package. To make things easier we have included the package in this year's price. We can exclude this for medical exceptions only.

HOTEL
El Rompido Golf Resort - Only an hours drive from both Faro and Seville, El Rompido has easy access by motorway from both airports. The Hotel has all of the facilities you would expect from a 5* resort with tastefully furnished bedrooms, spacious public rooms and excellent standards of service. Close by is the fishing village of El Rompido with some delightful restaurants to tempt you away from your comfortable surroundings at the hotel. Complimented by two first class courses; El Rompido South and North, this resort provides wonderful value with a 5 Star rating.
GOLF COURSE
El Rompido Golf Club opened mid 2003 to fantastic reviews throughout Europe. The original El Rompido South Course is a challenging and beautiful course, and with the recent addition of the fabulous El Rompido North Course the reputation of this superb facility can only grow. The South Course hosted the 2004 & 2005 final of the national Daily Mail Foursomes, and is hotly tipped to host many more national and international tournaments in coming years. The South Course sprawls across an intriguing mix of parkland and marshland and offers some amazing views. The walk from the 17th green to the 18th tee takes you across a 650ft pontoon right across the protected marshland where you can see freshwater crabs and an abundance of bird life.El Rompido North Course is a modern golf course blending into the beauty of its natural surrounding and that requires golfers to combine power and precision. Whilst it is still based around the Marismas (marshlands) the course is both longer and wider than the South course. The greens have settled well and seem to become trickier as you get into the back nine, being well guarded with bunkers. It is a fairly flat course and worth walking to enjoy some great views across the Marismas towards the sea. The layout will make you think about your strokes and its medium-sized greens will entertain both the most skilled player and those with the highest handicaps.The main competition is played in Stableford format.
