TARLETON 
In 1993 we acquired Tarleton Travel and with a large investment in staff and technology we increased our capacity to Almeria eventually chartering 6 complete aircraft (180/200 seats in each aircraft) per week in the summer months and 3 aircraft in the quieter winter period. We opened 3 offices in the area, Mojacar, Roquetas de Mar and at the Almeria Airport and for 10 years we were the dominant supplier to Almeria . Around 2004/05 suddenly Almeria became the next target for the low cost airlines and the area was bombarded with cheap seats (as low as £5) by the likes of Easyjet, Ryanair, My Travel Lite and Monarch.

That called for a  change of direction and using our base in Almeria we started to concentrate on bespoke travel which took us into the golf market. Starting with the Golf Hotel at Almerimar (in its original shape) we added hotels, courses and other destinations to our programme. Eventually spreading into the resorts and golfing venues throughout Spain and Portugal. We have now opened up our horizons worldwide and include such great destinations as Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Italy, Morocco, Turkey, Vietnam, South Africa, USA and more.

Along the way we acquired the European School of Golf which came with contacts  with such great golfers such as Beverly Lewis, Mickey Walker and George Will.
This opened up a whole new market of Golf Tuition weeks with professionals and since we had acquired the services in the late 90’s of our Director of Golf Denise Hastings, we moved even further forward into tuition breaks. Denise, now an Advanced Fellow Professional of the PGA has been a firm favourite with our golfing guests and her tuition breaks are always extremely popular. In addition each year we add more new professionals and coaching events to our schedule.

Moving forward we developed our fascination for large golfing events and now hold around five to six per year ranging from 50 to 180 guests. We have also created a large following in the Ladies Golf Market and now around 70% of our customers are Ladies. 
In April each year we run probably the largest Ladies Pro Am in Europe hosting 168 golfers over 7 days & 5 rounds.

50 years later we still believe that the customer is king.We still pride ourselves on personal service and attention to detail.
Technology is there to assist and speed up our service but remember we are always just at the end of a phone or email.
